This course provides a clear and practical overview of the most important concepts within hospital financing and financial management, with specific attention to data registration and analysis in the hospital.
Tailored to the target audience
This course focuses on various key roles within the hospital.
Because each role requires different emphasis, we offer the training four times, each time tailored to a specific audience.

The training is structured around four substantive modules
VG-MZG: NRG-model
In dit deel van de opleiding wordt dieper ingegaan op het NRG-model, een groeperingsmodel dat de verpleegkundige zorgen indeelt in groepen op basis van de nationale VG-MZG.
Elke groep of NRG representeert een verzameling van zorgperiodes waarin gelijkaardige zorgen worden toegediend bij de patiënt. De NRG’s liggen aan de basis voor de berekening van bijkomende financiering via het onderdeel B2 van het BFM.
Na een theoretisch gedeelte, waar de opbouw van het NRG-model wordt besproken, wordt er voldoende tijd besteed aan de impact en analyse van de NRG’s aan de hand van een praktijkvoorbeeld.

MG-MZG
Waar de eerste opleidingsdag aandacht had voor het Budget Financiële Middelen, laagvariabele zorg, ligduurperformantie en DRG-parameters, wordt deze keer dieper ingegaan op Gpot, Gfin, units spoed en NPERCIZ.
Na een gedegen theoretische toelichting, worden de concepten verhelderd via de uitwerking van een praktijkvoorbeeld omtrent Gpot en Gfin.

Apotheek - materiaalforfait
Na de module apotheek - geneesmiddelenforfait, komt deze keer het materiaalforfait aan bod.
Het materiaalforfait (voluit: forfait invasieve hulpmiddelen) is opgedeeld in verschillende categorieën. De verschillende aspecten van deze categorieën worden toegelicht.
Daarna wordt er ingezoomd op een feedback voorbeeld voor artsen om harmonisatie te faciliteren en financiële impact van de forfaits in kaart te brengen.

This training course was specially designed for (new) directors and managers who want to gain insight into the use of MZG data.
The training is structured around four modules:
MG-MZG (Medical Data)
VG-MZG (Nursing Data)
Medicines package (Pharmacy)
Quality parameters (mortality, complications and readmissions)
You will gain insight into how data registration is directly linked to the Budget of Financial Resources, quality of care and policy implementation . We will provide you with tools to use this data strategically within your role as a board member or director.
This course is aimed at directors, but is also relevant for doctors, hospital pharmacists, medical heads of department and policy officers.

This training course was specially designed for (new) policy officers who require a broad basic knowledge of registration, financing and policy data.
The training is structured around four modules.
In the morning two modules will be covered:
MG-MZG (Medical Data)
VG-MZG (Nursing Data)
There is a lunch break with a sandwich lunch between 12:00 and 13:00.
In the afternoon two more modules will be discussed:
Medicines package (Pharmacy)
