Cancellation policy

Registering for a course or event at THE Institute is a commitment. Not quite sure whether you can attend? Send an email to fien.neirynck@t-h-e-institute. We will be happy to see if we can temporarily reserve a place for you until you confirm your attendance.

Cancellation after registration is not possible free of charge.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise.
That is why we offer the following options:

1. Replacement by a colleague (recommended option)
Are you unable to attend? Then you can always transfer your registration free of charge to a colleague who will participate in your place.

2. Cancellation without a replacement
If you are unable to send a colleague, the following conditions apply:

Cancellation more than two weeks before the start
You will be charged 50% of the training or event cost. After all, we have already incurred administrative costs.

Cancellation less than two weeks before the start
You will owe the full amount. At that point, we will already have incurred costs for catering, location and teaching materials, among other things.

This cancellation policy also applies if you have not yet paid for the training course.
