The BFM: central pillar within hospital financing
In the 'Introduction to Budget Financial Resources' training course, participants are introduced to the structure and functioning of the BFM in Belgian hospitals. The lesson starts with an overview of the most important sources of funding and places the BFM within this context as a central pillar of hospital financing. The various components of the BFM are then discussed, with a more in-depth look at component B2.

Part A serves as a bridge to the course 'Introduction to Investment Funds', which continues in the afternoon.

It is possible to register for both courses at the same time, in which case a discount is offered.
Tailored to the target audience
The course provides an introduction to the Budget Financial Resources. It is therefore not intended for employees who have already built up knowledge and expertise in the BFM, but is aimed in particular towards new staff members.

The training course may also be of interest to directors or board members, provided they are not financial directors but are interested in hospital financing.

In addition, doctors who sit on the medical council or who are simply interested in hospital financing can also participate in the training.

Finally, the module may also be of interest to employees of health insurance funds, banks and insurance companies, or other organisations in the healthcare sector who would like to learn the basic principles of BFM.
