Course content

The financial resources budget (FRB) still forms the largest source of income for a hospital. The size, complexity, and constant evolution of the FRB require specific insights to also process that budget accounting-wise.

In this training, we go over the different types of FRB lines and their implications for accounting processing.

We also take a moment to consider the factors that can be taken into account when estimating the associated revenues.

Furthermore, we cover the new revision methodology that the government has been applying since 2025.

Finally, we take a look at the potential allocation of the FRB to cost center level.

The outcome of this training is a basic framework for processing the FRB in accounting, as well as a guide to discussing that processing with both internal stakeholders (management, board of directors, …) and external parties (auditors, banks, …).

Training and networking opportunity

A training course also provides an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues from other hospitals and exchange experiences. Therefore, we are happy to combine a networking session with the training.
