Theoretical introduction to the Global Trigger Tool
The Global Trigger Tool (GTT) helps to identify potentially undesirable patient outcomes in a structured manner. This gives you clear insight into areas for improvement and opportunities to optimise care with clinically relevant actions.
In the first part of this training course, you will be introduced to the possibilities of the GTT and gain insight into how to select the right files for further analysis, based on the data in the Quality Square.

Nathalie Baillieul, manager at Hict, provides a detailed explanation of the Global Trigger Tool.
In the second part of the training, the Global Trigger Tool is applied using realistic fictional cases.

Under supervision, the participants will work in smaller groups.

The working groups will be supervised by Nathalie Baillieul, manager at Hict, and Ester Steffens, senior consultant at Hict.
