Overview of the course
The MZG is a registry with which all non-psychiatric hospitals in Belgium make their (anonymised) administrative, medical and nursing data available to the FPS Public Health. The medical data must be coded in ICD-10-BE.
This basic course, spread over 10 Thursdays, aims to provide a good basis for novice coders. Registration is for the whole course. It is therefore not possible to register per part. The daily schedule is not binding and can change according to necessity.
De cursus vormt één geheel en het verdiend aanbeveling om de volledige cursus te volgen. Dit vormt de beste voorbereiding op het examen en biedt de beste kansen op het behalen van een attest.
Het is echter ook mogelijk om in te schrijven als codeer team, waarbij niet alle lessen door één medewerker worden gevolgd, maar de lessen worden verdeeld over verschillende collega's. Op die manier kunnen maximaal tien collega's uit één team een dag les volgen in deze reeks.
Iedereen die minimaal één les heeft gevolgd krijgt de kans deel te nemen aan het examen en het attest te behalen. Voor de lessen die niet werden bijgewoond zal evenwel zelfstudie noodzakelijk zijn.
